Privacy Policy
Last updated July 17, 2026
Simply ScreenOn is a one-purpose Android app that keeps your screen from dimming. This policy is short because the app does very little with your data — specifically, nothing.
No data collection
The app does not collect, store on a server, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, or analytics. It has no internet permission and makes no network connections of any kind.
Permissions
The app requests a wake lock to keep your screen on, and runs a foreground service (with a required persistent notification) so it keeps working while you switch to other apps. Neither permission is used to access, collect, or transmit any data.
What's stored, and where
The app doesn't save any settings or history — there's nothing to remember between sessions beyond whether the screen-on service is currently running.
Accounts and sign-in
There are none. The app does not require or support creating an account or signing in.
Third parties
The app contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party SDKs of any kind.
Deleting your data
Since nothing is stored, there's nothing to delete beyond uninstalling the app itself.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that uses the network — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change.
